Counselling Approach & Philosophy My underlying philosophy starts with the belief that the most important thing I can provide for my clients is a confidential, understanding and safe environment. There are no formulas to making changes. Each person is a unique individual. I customize my counselling approach to meet your personal needs. I draw from many different counselling modalities such as Humanistic / Client centred therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), Psychodynamic therapies, Mindfulness based approaches, Gestalt therapy and others. It is this individualized approach, combined with proven techniques, that help individuals and couples reach their goals, go beyond symptom relief and achieve long-lasting change. Whether it is a personal problem or a relationship that needs attention, I believe in your ability to make positive and lasting change in your life. |
